My client, a rapidly expanding consultancy based in Edinburgh are currently seeking an IT Consultant*Architect to join their small but expanding team based out of their head office in Edinburgh.
These opportunites are few and far between as this role will give you a chance to move into a Practice Manager`s role within the Development*Middleware environment.
If you are tired of working in a large consultancy firm or sick of being in an organisation with too much red tape and no career prospects then this could be the role for you.
As an IT Consultant you will provide advisory and technical services to clients on a daily fee basis and provide both pre sales and post sales support.
This role in not hands on but you will have has previous experience either as a Senior A*P or Technical Architect.
Duties*Responsibilites
To provide leadership and knowledge in the areas if IT Integration especially middleware (Websphere*weblogic) XML, MQ Series and relational databases as well as a good understanding of design of architecture of Java*J2EE, Microsoft C#,.Net
Identify, secure and manage all resources necessary for the successful completion of a project, such as budget of overall staff.
You will have a strong development*infrastructure environment covering mainframe, distributed, storage etc.
Dynamic and ambitious with a flexible, hands on approach and excellent consulting skills
